Chopard
Chopard is a Swiss luxury watch, jewelry and accessories company founded in 1860 by Louis-Ulysse Chopard. The founder initially focused on designing precision pocket watches and chronometers.
He creates a manufacture, namely a watchmaking house whose watches and movements are essentially designed and assembled in-house. After modest beginnings, the company survived as best it could until 1963, when it was bought by Karl Scheufele III, a German watchmaker and jeweler based in Pforzheim, who made his talent and knowledge available to Chopard.
Under the impetus of this family, the Chopard brand therefore became a reference in the field of precision luxury watches and jewelry.
